Well, first off I’m 62, going on 63. I don’t feel like it and some people say I don’t look like it. I really feel about 20 years younger and some people say I look at least ten years younger. I’m back in college because it is something I haven’t finished. I’ve finished lots of things. You could call me a jack-of-all-trades. I’ve done just about every thing imaginable – played football, worked oilfield, helped develop and promote one of the first personal computers back in ‘78, written several hundred published articles, had photo cover shots, worked a stint as southwest correspondent for National Geographic World back in the late 70’s, made lots of money, lost lots of money, owned and operated four businesses since ‘78, went to college in ‘67 but couldn’t get serious about it and ended up marrying. I raised a family of 5 boys and 1 girl. And now, I’m back in college seeking closure on the one thing I started as a young man and didn’t finish. I should be finished with a BA in History and a minor in news and editorial journalism come December of this year. What am I doing after that? No telling! But I do know this – fun, friends and adventure have kept me young. And I intend to stay that way!
